That ole nasty hurricane is bearing down on one of my favorite areas. From New Orleans to Ft Walton beach the cruise down I10 is a drive through God’s country. Great fishing both fresh and some saltwater, hit the casinos in Biloxi, The Grand being my favorite and hanging out with delta women its allll good. I love that area.

Katrina sounds like she's going to be one b*tch of a hurricane. Category 5, winds up to 175 MPH, hitting an area that's BELOW sea level. The Bayou will be in my prayers as well because a lot of people down there are unfortunately going to need it.

I hope they catch a break. I was in Ft Lauderdale during Andrew in 92. A really horrible storm that hit about 5 AM 30 miles south of me. One of the few times I feared for my life.

The Louisiana and Delta areas are not nearly as prepared as Florida. It's the poor that are not able to leave and do not have a structure to withstand 150 mph winds that we have to pray for. Their lives are certainly in danger.
