Opens at -7 but now there's a few -5.5's. But bets are coming in on WVU, or so I think. This may be the KEY to my ultimate choice. And as always tough to back a road favorite on Friday night. Maybe even more so in the not so Big East. Crazy stuff is the norm in this conference. We just have to go back to USF at Cincy among a lot of other surprises.
There is a big disparity between starting QB's,with a big edge to WVU. But the coaching edge goes to the Huskies. Bill Stewart will not run up the score, will sit on any lead and make a stupid move or two along the way. Makes Under the number a consideration, but it is set pretty low for a college game. Connecticut should have a tough time scoring against this defense with their QB, but has historically played well at home.
I could almost see teasing Connecticut and the Under number, but teasing college foots especially, is not real smart IMO. So my thought is possibly just bet what the line tells you to tonight which seemingly is the home dog. Just wish I could visualize how they score points tonight. Weather will be a bit chilly but otherwise not be a factor.
