Quickest Bank Wire Ever: I Am Confused

Guys I sent a $500 Bank Wire to a Euro Bank and it got their the same day, now bank wires take from 3-5 business days unless I am wrong.

How is this possible and secondly I did not notify book I was sending??

yea and you could do one next week and it would take 8 days
NYC to London banks are usually very fast
for $500 they wont even blink
if you do it every day for month you will start to run up the red flag
otherwise be thankful
and drop the book an email
"like no big deal i wired you $500"

seems when they want the money they have the means to get it,but when u want it it always takes awhile,got to love the banks

JJ, I've received EFTs (electronic fund transfers) from Moneybookers within 1 business day. This is no biggie.

Bank wires usually take just a few hours to arrive. Books are fukking us around when they make us wait x number of business days. I can send a bank wire in the morning (on a business day), and it'll be at it's destination by noon. Same for when I receive wires, whether it be in the states, costa rica, europe, etc. It doesn't take longer than half a day, provided that you meet your bank's cutoff time.

J.J. I'm thinking of using this method to fund a book.....Never used this method before.
Is it a pain in the ass to set up.....How much banking info does the accepting book need?

Wires are painfully easy - I do them from online banking, but some archaic banks make you go inside a branch and fill out a form. The book will give you the information that you need to give to your bank (or to send it online), and you just send it.

I found it funny when I was funding The Greek, and the destination bank they gave me was the same as the bank that I was sending from, so it ended up being an internal transfer, which is instant. They still made me wait 2 business days - the fukkers.

its not hard but like Chilly said find a bank that does international online transfers or at least on phone transfers

All you need is a few details from the books, set up one bank account just for gambling

Might be same bank group. It's like a branch so the money appears immediately after transferring

I'd like to know how you are able to play at a Euro book. My guess is it doesn't accept usa players. i have no doubt you do, but am interested how to show proof of residence. Always good to have a euro book for soccer, tennic, etc.
