From the looks of things, most of you will be buried 20 games into the NBA season...So hopefully I will be able to keep you afloat with some late night Warrior plays...

Although I have always watched hoop, i try not to bet on it too much because I'd like to live past 65. The swings drive me nuts and feel no amount of money is worth the stress.. So this year I am going to focus mainly on the Warriors and try to keep a good feel for them all season long..

I will be rating these plays on a 1-5 unit scale, If I think I have a good feel for the Warriors opponent as well, i will make the play a stronger 4 or 5 unit play.. Most will be 1 or 2 unit plays..

Tonights Play

Since its the first game of the year, we are going to make a small 1 unit play on the Under 217. The simple angle here is with Don Nelson gone, I expect Keith Smart to preach a little more defense. The books will figure to get plenty of over action thanks to the W's rep.

I aleays used to check don best to see the opener. I've been there a few times recently, including today, and only saw current lines. I got to the NBA tab and odds. Is it somewhere else? I hate being on the wrong side of movement (even though this did move down from 218).

to be fair i heard 209 from someone but i went and looked and 210-212 looks like open then up to 218.5 then back to 217 so yea could've been deceiving seeing it drop a point or so if one hadn't noticing opening line, but hey perhaps look at 2h over?

we got 95 points scored at 6 min in 2q so i would have to quit betting if the over loses here

every player/coach interview i saw all preseason they would mention a new emphasis on defense, from what I'm seeing here they are all just bullshitting..looks like the same Warrior team to me.. when Ellis(27 points in first half) is out of the game, which is rarely, they seem to play a little more conventional.

its only one half of one game..so too early to make any bold statements...
