    Anybody do live in-play wagering?
Guess I am a little old fashioned and have never really dabbed into live in-play wagering that much. However, I got home from work late last night and caught the last quarter of the lakers/rockets game. Thought I would make the opening night game more interesting for myself and place a few live in-play wagers on the direction I felt the game was going. Ended up with a freeroll. Is this a common occurrence in live in-play wagering? Have I been missing something great for all these years? Did I just luck out? What is your opinion of live in-play? Feedback appreciated.

I really love live betting. I had been missing for ages as well but last two seasons I actually made more money from live betting than straight bets. I often take underdog in the match when I expect close score (as you did in LAL/HOU, that's exactly style I like)...and then make surebet, middle or something in live you betting. Another great thing with live betting can be seen in the following example...last night I got BOS/MIA under 190 before game...and then I made live-play, over 166 after 1Q. Both bets cashed. But you must be careful. Live betting is quite addictive. It is easier to lose money in live betting. You bet under higher pressure and you must do it quick. That's the reason why people make mistakes more easily. But if you know the game and you are level-headed enough , live betting is great opportunity. I wish you good luck

In play wagering is a brilliant way to boost your bankroll. Obviously, especially important when watching the game.

live betting favorites is death. tough grind for one mistake.
key is to make the first bet small and increase as you have a winning movement.

Thanks for the feedback everybody. Just really got into it within the last week or so and have luckily been on the positive 5/6 times. Giants 'live' were really good to me on Monday and I think i'm hooked. Just wanted to see if I was going down the road to nowhere lol. Hell I may be, but it sounds like if I use a little discipline and math, I should be alright.

Gman - I see your point... Almost pulled the trigger on Rockets when they were up like 13 near end of 3rd qtr. at -460 if i recall. That would have sucked.

The only issue is most books geared to American players have very few games for live betting and not a lot of options and or good software unlike Euro books who are masters of the live betting platform.

                                    Love in-play.

I remember the first bucks I ever made was through in-play way, way back.

I do it all the time.

                                      DSI and 5 Dimes primarily.

I also have a Bodog screen open for it, but they often don't put up the lines during breaks.

Last year I used to bet in the SBR Sportsbook in play on football.

They shut it down after a few weeks, though. Used to be on NFL and NCAA primetime games.
