I don't know how someone can say "well the defense gave up 41 points" as an answer to the statement that Romo going out changed the game.

Those 3 and outs that Kitna put up when he first came in put the defense at a huge disadvantage at a time when they needed a breather. The 41 points was given up by the defense, but Kitna and Co. didn't help them out either.

Kitna went 16 for 33. He wasn't the one causing the 3 and outs.
