books that take echeck for US residents
For the life of me I cannot get my credit/debit card to work at the books. I know 5dimes takes echecks but they no longer certify and you have to wait like 3 weeks between deposits on a low limit. Also, they do not cover some of the tracks I like. Does anyone know of a decent book that takes echeck for US residents? thx

I use skybook now also. There is nowhere listed on their site a way to do echeck and they only do a few thoroughbred tracks. nothing harness. will check out beted.

What Dan says is true. But of these two, only BetEd will let you withdraw by E-Check. Skybook only allows a bankwire for US at a $100 fee.

beted is awesome at taking your echeck and running it through your account so many times you have to close your account because the stop pay you put on it gets avoided as they changed the amount of the draft attempt.

I had a echeck for 250.00, drafted 2x then they drafted for 249.56 when I had a stop pay put on there attempts to keep drafting from my account. My bank refunded me for them drafting my account. They claimed I carry a negative balance with them and they do nothing to resolve this issue. This company in a joke and not worth dealing with. If I have a negative balance with them so be it. It was my first deposit with them and I'll never go back.

It takes them about 48 hours to verify the withdrawl. And then another 5 business days for it to hit your bank account....

I requested an echeck withdrawal the night of the super bowl, and it was in my bank account today, so about 8 days? Its no neteller, but its not bad considering the state of the industry.

Can you elaborate some more on this? Why did they keep hitting your bank up, did you reverse a deposit by e-Check?

Same story with me, smooth withdrawals. Just make sure to get your paperwork in order before the first one (send them a scan of your ID, etc...).

If you are just betting horses, why not use a US book and pay through paypal or your checking account or something?

www.youbet.com is a good site for horses. They have rewards you can use and their pools are hooked into the tracks. This is a legitimate company that I believe trades on the stock exchange and you will never ever get stiffed by then unlike most of the books these days. I think you have to bet like $250 or something a month to get free audio/video but if you are seriously into horses that is a race or two. They allow credit cards, bank wires, mailings, and you can also use your checking account.

They pay track odds I believe Picantel.

Didn't the feds just raid this place not too long ago over something though?
