Do books like the greek, wsex, and bookmaker limit your wagers if you consistently win games & cash out (to the tune of 2.5 to 5 dime profits)? Which books support consistent winners without imposing limits and/or other hassles (besides pinny)?

#2Olympic, Cris, Pinnacle, WSEX, 5Dimes from the A books. They might take minor countermeasures, but not if you originate.Comment -

#5incredible... pro books impose limits?
In a typical bookmaking structure the losers pay the winners. The book gets juice from both sides and the remaining balance on losses from the losers. Why would they care if somebody's turning a consistent profit - they're not paying for it?
So it's safe to say that the greek won't impose limits... they'll allow you to wager and win as you please?Comment -

rarely if ever does a book be it large, small, offshore, local or vegas have equal action. many simply make a decision as to what to do with their part. hold, lay-off.......the greek is no different than your guy down at the local watering hole, they have more players and more inventory but don't be fooled by the old myth that they just sit back and collect the juice. most don't want that as it's a pittance to try and live on, if however you think you can beat a book out of his invetory week in and week out without limits you are sadly mistaken, they will adjust only after you've proven that they can't beat you.Comment -

cut limits, dual lines, delayed or timing out wager placement...
if you're asking these questions no need to worry, they are not scared of you. if you can beat 54% laying 11/10 you need to move to vegas and set up shop......Comment -

#13I'm just trying to understand what I'm going up against. My primary income season is set to begin (MLB) and I'm looking to hit up the books for serious cash this year (took me 2 years to perfect my system).
I appreciate your expert advice.Comment -

#14Maybe I will move out to vegas. When you say "set up shop" - you're talking about a pro-handicapping operation (for squares) or playing the Vegas books (a small time betting syndicate situation)?Comment -

#16Only know of one place out of those mentioned where I was never flagged or bothered in any way. Pinnacle. Cris is next least intrusive and Greek is after that.Comment -

#18From what I've seen, books will limit you if you chase steam. But if you originate, they often echo you, or work out a deal with you.Comment -

#20Wow... pro bettors are that potentially detrimental to a bookmaker's bottom line that they're willing to negotiate?
What kinds of deal(s) could they possibly offer that's better than winning their cash?Comment -

#21Katstale... is it safe to say that averaging about $2.5 to $5K (per week) at your above mentioned books won't spark the sportsbook limit machine (too much)?Comment -

#22You should be way safe at those amts. You attract attention when you push their limits multiple times per day. I would say a guy spreading around 5 to 10k per week will be left alone and is considered small by the top books. Put 20k min per day in play every day and watch how much attention you draw!! lol Especially betting on line. GL.Comment -

#24I'll start the MLB season out with greek and cris... then work my way up to pinny. It's going to be hard to cut action at 10K - especially with the daily values that baseball offers.Comment -
