No blushes as career girl finds perfect bride

Chen Wei-yih has posed in a flowing white dress for photographs, hired a wedding planner and rented a hall for a marriage celebration with 30 friends. But there's no groom. Chen is marrying herself.
Uninspired by men she's met, but being pushed to wed, the 30-year-old Taipei white-collar worker heads into solo marriage next month and to Australia on a lone honeymoon.
"Age 30 is a prime period for me," Chen says. She likes her job and life is good, "but I've not found a partner. What can I do?
"It's not that I'm anti-marriage. I just hope to express a different idea within the bounds of a tradition."

Still, Chen cannot register the marriage to herself, so she can wed again if she finds Mr Right.
