you should mainly acquire credit accounts for the purpose of betting futures or in the rare cases they have a slow moving line

locals - use them to get off lines as im sure some overadjust their lines to fit their clients' betting patterns/tendacies

I use online b/c I don't know of any local. And even if I find one, how do I trust a total stranger? I guess I just don't know squat about locals, but would be interested in hearing any advice on finding/using them.

locals can have advantages over offshore, not many but a few. in my area locals do not count overtime for totals in any sports, so if i am playing an under 90% of the time i use a local.

Local can have his advantages. I have been using the same local for years now and I will never have a problem. Except for when Ralphie1412 played with him and stiffed him. He wasn't very happy.

Ouch, that sucks. Vouching is risky. I would play with a local if I could. It would be nice to have that personal relationship with the person that is taking your action/money. When I log into my offshore I feel like I am just logging in to my online banking or something. OFFSHORE=USCAN=ATM=REDBOX.

It's a nice feeling to be honest. I know he's not going to screw me, and he knows I won't screw him. Simple as that. I'm a fan of playing offshore too but nothing beats getting my winnings in CASH the following week and not have to wait for a ** or Check by some Costa Ricans that I don't even know.

Only know one local...and his odds are worse then what i can get online. Also, online is 24hr a day access with FAR more options...just simpler all around.

Locals are ok for soft lines but like Jimmy says betting on credit is dangerous
also betting with locals do not have the betting options like offshore in most cases

Your local shouldnt be a total stranger, if he takes your action before getting to know you ya dont wanna play with him.

But either way, I'll take one stranger 10 miles away over a boiler room of Jamaicans any day
