Suspect With Sword Tries Robbing 3 Men, 1 Injured
TOWN N COUNTRY, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Authorities are looking for a sword-wielding man who tried to rob three men at a Town N Country apartment complex overnight.
A man armed with a metal sword, first approached a man standing outside a dumpster at the Beacon Isles Apartments on 6210 Sheldon Road, according to reports.
He held the sword to the man's throat and demanded drugs and money, officials said. When he wasn’t able to get either, he ran off and approached a 2nd man.
Detectives say he lifted his shirt, showing an automatic pistol in his waistband, and demanded money and the man’s keys.
