Two lines...saying the same thing? I have accounts in both and am trying to decipher wtf they are saying? To me the line is moving in a way that moves more money towards NYG but maybe I'm completely off. I'm merely looking for an interpretation of value than anything else.

What is going on after the odds after the line crosses from +3 to +3.5?

I'm only trying to understand how books play with the odds to trick us rather than just moving the line, because I don't really see this locally at casinos as they rarely go off of -110 odds.

Holy crap I got a shitty line. Early in the week I got Giants +3.5 at -125. It's at -115 now on my book. The public was on them early in the week so I thought I'd jump on them before the line moved. TheSpread dot com has the public at 52/48 slightly favoring Coboys. How'd I get stuck with this shit line? Advice on how to beat the line better in the future, anyone?

If dallas win tonight they need to shut down gmen there for it should go under. Both teams arent pass happy teams anyways. The cowboys can only win if they RUN the ball.

So to summarize it appears that the total should be higher than 45 on this game based on the total combined offense of both teams. By my estimate we are looking at a true total of 49-51 points and getting 45 is a bargain.

Pavy I don't care what happened last year. I'm looking at the whole picture here buddy. You can live in the stat books and past performances but I'm looking at a one win cowboy team playing at home with the all of man kind watching. I think they show up.

Dallas is desperate but they'll take a very different approach than Minnesota did last night. You won't see Romo throw with reckless abandon as Favre did. The game plan for both teams willl be methodical, lots of short passes and RUNS. Dallas has a very strong defensive line so this setup bodes pretty well for them. With Nicks banged up for NY we won't see too many 60 yard bombs from Eli. If you take the Over it'll be an uncomfortable/frustrating night for you as each offense tries to take time off the clock.
