Are The New Forums Really Active?
This isn't a knock on them, because I think it's a good idea to have those extra categories, but lately I'm noticing over half of the posts there are mirrored here.

Why not just reroute threads to the appropriate forum if they're posted in Players Talk, instead of copying them elsewhere? Seeing the same thread in two different forums gets annoying after a while when it happens every single time someone posts something in the wrong location. Either let their post stand as is or move them to the correct place instead of making more copies of the same?

I agree with the part of seeing the same thread in two different places.

There are different ways we could go. The two very targeted forums are there for those who do not want to sift through general discussion. It also works so that a player who wants the larger audience doesn't feel slighted when his thread gets moved out of the Players Talk. We think posters should get to post where they want but still want to help those other topics grow. I think we are the first forum to do go this route so bring on the feedback. Also, consider the alternatives.

I personally like it. I can find all the complaints easier and can find the daily math lesson. Maybe we should mirror less threads?

We are still smoothing out how everything will work.

Bill, I am begging you to pay Mario DeVito as soon as possible. Think of it as an investment. If he goes then I can bring in some real cappers here.

Keep up the good work Bill. I personally like the mirrored idea. Keep in mind, the new sub-sections are in fact new, and don't get many views yet. If you have a time-sensitive question, it can get answered quickly in Players Talk, and within a day, it goes into oblivion on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.. pages. Then, after that time, you can quickly reference the posts in their respective sections, which gives people more exposure to getting used to, and using, the new sections. Just my opinion.
