      You can always ask the sportsbook - a few can permit it if the line has not moved and it's a small enough bet. But rule of thumb is that the bet sticks.

          This is horrible advice.

          Call the book. If the line hasn't changed they will most likely refund your bet if it is reputable bet.

          If the line HAS changed, very slim chance.

          Also, ask to speak with the mgr. Clerks may give you a scripted answer.
