Have a sports betting account at Galaxy.(4galaxysports.com) They had Texas +115 vs. Yankees. My other spot had Yankees +150. Looked like middle opportunity, but I know bad line bets are cancelled. Called and bet Yankees $500 at +150 after told it was correct line. Then called Galaxy, which uses Diamond site and spoke to a clerk. Asked If Texas +115 was correct line. She said yes. I asked her to speak to her supervisor and make sure because other site had different line and I didn't want their to be a problem. Thirty seconds later she came back and assured me Texas +115 was the correct line. So I bet $500 Texas +115. Remember I called and bet on phone instead of internet and insisted clerk speak to supervisor. Later I got online and found bet was cancelled. Tried to cancel my other wager on Yankees, but was refused. So I ate the bet and gambled and lost$500. Have spoke to several experienced bettors and they seem to think Galaxy should have honored the bet because I called and had clerk speak to supervisor to make sure line was right. How was I supposed to know which line was correct? Have only two outs. Would recommend not betting with Galaxy-Diamond. What's to stop them from doing this on football game that moves several points? Would like opinions from experienced bettors. Thank you, neophyte bettor.
