I have been a vegetarian for 16.5 years and a vegan 9 out of the 16.5. I was offered 5 k to eat a hamburger last year and laughed at the offer.

did you know that Vegans live 16 yrs on avg longer than the avg person? i couldn't believe this stat when i saw it.

That shit doesn't taste like meat. One of my wife's cousins decided to go vegetarian, and one day at her house, she had veggie burgers, and swore up and down that it tasted just like meat. Of course, I was skeptical, as I am fully aware of how they take a soy bean and process the hell out of it to look like a hamburger, a hot dog, or even freakin milk! So, I took one bite out of it, then spit it back out on my plate, and handed it back to her. Then I called up Pizza Hut and had 2 large meat-lovers pizzas delivered to her house. The family was pretty appreciative of my efforts

Going to a restaurant with a vegan is a nighmare as they feel the need to substitute non meat items into everything and complain that there is nothing to eat.
