Proposal for SBR Management and JJ

I'm officially offering my services to help the parties by facilitating the agreement process. I would like to broker this deal for you. We meet in Toronto this coming week. The proposed deal (of course we'll dot the Is and cross the Ts in person) to mull over in anticipation is simple:

JJ will post exclusively at SBR for a 2-year period. SBR pays JJ a flat fee of $25k up front plus 1% of advertising revenue (gross) monthly.

All I ask is travel, accommodation and $5k to help move these parties forward beyond this stalemate. PM me if interested.

I'm not an old timer. I've been on sbr since after the all star break. But, the only people that seem to care whether jj stays or goes are the people who joined recently. Some say that these people are JJs disiciples. I don't know about that. I do know that it really makes no difference what JJ does or doesn't do. He hasn't posted a winning pick since before the end of baseball season. I used to read JJ's posts because he always had good picks. I could care less about all this other nonsense.

He's doing a poor job. You both know he wasn't offered even the base pay of what SBR would agree to anywhere else, so enough drama and get a deal done.

Raiders, I think you've misconstrued my intent -- which is to form a mutually beneficial contract, not as an agent of JJ but in the best interests of both parties. Think of this as a sort of mediation. I will mediate/facilitate. You may attend the Toronto talks, if they happen, although I've yet to receive a PM from either party, but I must insist that you not attend alone. Bring your client. It is important that the parties meet in person as I know that if only their agents/lawyers attend issues will arise that they did not anticipate.

I am sorry but this is retarded. 75% of the forum wants his ass GONE. Why the hell would SBR pay to have him stay. Out of the remaining 25% only 10% would leave(or so they say). I would be willing to bet less than 5 people leave if he goes and many people who left because of JJ would come back to a JJ free board. What an awful business decision that would be.

I officially revoke my offer to facilitate. Just received a death threat by phone from someone who was clear that I should stay out of this. The fellow was not a rep of JJ or SBR. That's about all I know. Turns out the situation is more sensitive than even I thought and has roots in both the Masons and skull n bones. I am now more intrigued than ever to see whether JJ stays but believe me that we will never know half the story. Lots of big players involved. Wow!
