Anyone been to TUNICA Lately?

That place is a fukking gem. Only 30 mins outside Memphis, a world renowned city full of culinary delights.

Tunica is a special place, i love being in the land of cotton on a college football Saturday.

I highly advise those of you with some means to spend time there and in Memphis, its well worth it!

Visit Rendezvous, Gus's Chicken, And Dyer Burger on Beale St for a GREAT time and outstanding food.

Love the place, sneak up there about once every 2 years or so and spend 7-10 days hanging out playing cards. Great action at the tables too, lot of dead money in the poker rooms.

9 casinos within 8 miles of each other -- Harrah's, Horseshoe and Sam's Town are my favorites, some like Hollywood or Gold Strike.

Harrah's has the Paula Deen buffet, which is the best buffet I've ever had..........

Great casinos for great food. It is very easy to get comps too. I like the Horseshoe for poker.

Horseshoe has some nice cash games....Gold Strike will have good selection of tourneys during the tour. Sam's Town is mainly locals who play...not a lot of good games. Be prepared to buy in for no less than 8-12k if you play weekends at the Horse Shoe but there are some easy tables earlier. Good luck. I haven;t been in about 6 months...now you remind me...I need to hit it soon.

Krystals? oh man....never get them and look at it the next morning...that meat curls up after like 5 hours Use to only eat it at like 3am after drinking all night in college..not sense then maybe they have improved but can still see the place packed late driving by on weekends out.

i love 4 cheese krystals, no pickle or mustard, with chili cheese fries and a coke. Thats a fantastic meal

yep. White Castles SUCK compared to Krystals

I usually hit Tunica a couple times per year. Always stay at Gold Strike. There weekend seafood buffet is great. Play there and Horseshoe mainly.

go to tunica as live in north miss all the time at least 3 or 4 times a month. would not trade 50 visits to tunica for 1 visit to vegas as in tunica nothing to do but gamble unless you see a good singer or group. also other than 3 casinos it is 20 or 30 minute drive to the other one's. like vegas where you park your rental car and do not move it exceth for special things.
in vegas can play gambling session and do other things; tunica they have you there with nothing else to do.

It is about 10 min between casinos, but they are not walking distance -- thats for sure.
