Carmelo, maybe try putting front and side sun visors up inside the car at night...My car was broken into 6months ago and since using this idea (remember most crimes of this type are purely opportunistic) it hasnt even been looked at, little known broken into again...Just an idea

Next time get a car alarm system like the Viper system. They aren't that expensive and it is sure a good theft prevention device.
