I know it is crazy especially when you have a guy like Howard who is most over paid baseball player in American History but he is due I think. Phila made a huge mistake giving him all that money, all he does is strike out, he also at a young age is already on a decline.

Howard has the most HR and RBI in baseball over the last 5 seasons. He is the fastest player ever to 200 HR. He is an NL MVP winner and a WS Champion. Plus he lost over 20 pounds and greatly improved his defense. Not sure he is the most overpaid player in baseball history...

True but you also know that postseason is a different proposition altogether in which Blanton has a postseason ERA of 3.89 throughout 7 series since 2008. Since the 7/21 his ERA has also been around 5 with an average of 5 and a half innings pitched. In his last outing against SF (8/18) he went for 8 hits with an ERA of 5.54 throughout 6.1 innings....Figures that hardly give one confidence...GL
