Wait, he's pissed he's not higher, or flattered to be #34?

Couldn't understand what he said. And is that Michal Irvin with him on the NFL network? I'm one of those cable people who dont get the network. I loved Irvin when he was on ESPN.

Totally underrated in my opinion. I would put him closer to the top 10 based on his impact on the game. He single-handedly took away an entire side of the field, was the most dangerous special teams player when they kicked to him, and he scored a lot of touchdowns on defense.

I have not seen this list.....is my boy Jerry Rice #1?

Edit: just saw it is an in-progress thing on ESPN.

Steve Young is only #81? ******* morons.

I even remember when Deion played a short time for the Niners.....No many opposing QB's threw to his side of the field.

Meh, these lists always stink. Peyton will be in the top 20, I bet, with only 1 ring and a bazillion 'critical' losses.
I couldn't say for sure who #1 would be, but it might be silly if it's not Jim Brown (or even Walter Payton).

Never have been and never will be a fan of a "ME" player but that aside I respect the game Deon had. He was a player who had very serious impact even before the game kicked off. Opposing teams had to scheme AROUND him and that is special. Just like Lawrence Taylor at his position, Deon Sanders in his prime may have been the best ever at his.

When these lists come out ,they are usually a joke.
That said, Deion made a complete fool of himself with his lame act.
Said he thinks he was the 2nd or 3rd best player all time.
When he was on the 49ers I doubt he was the 2nd or 3rd best player on that team.

What's funny is he talks like he's some type of mentor now. But like most people who become ministers 'do as i say, not as i do(or did)'. I really respect Deion a lot. I like him a lot. I like what he's trying to do. But at the end of the day, Prime is a fraud when he gets on guys to 'respect the team and take the money'. He sure as hell didn't when he was playing. He woulda played at least 1 or 2 more seasons if he didn't f over the Skins with Shoettenheimer (Prime wouldn't play for him). To boot, Marty claimed him off waivers when he was in SD when Prime was trying to make a comeback... Classic dick move by Marty, but totally awesome.

Surely the top ten players of all time are all QB's. The position is so much more important than any other. But of course they'll not have the list look like that "to be fair" to all positions or some shit. They'll have the top 20 balanced with positions, no doubt. Who cares anyway? Why is this list any better than a list I could produce if I looked over all the stats and then gave close calls to the player I liked better? It'd be no different. Fuking stupid.

Deion was a very good player, but he clearly played on great teams, which limited how much he will be appreciated.

As for his announcing, he's a reverse racist. He always defends the black players over the white players.

Has he said anything good about Kobb's performance the last two weeks for the Eagles? When he was cheering a Vick TD from the sideline in Week 2, Deion said "Kobb is a phony."

He also really started this "Me" stuff in the NFL, which set the stage for idiots like TO and Ochocinco, two boobs who will never win anything yet celebrate TDs when they down 28 points.
