Yep, no other than.......ABE!
Anyone else having this much "luck or skill?"
But, I had to go from total disaster to "Thank God" ..... in 3 weeks!
Now, here is the hypothetical probability all young gamblers need to educated on......I am supposed to lose all this money back, "plus!"
Can I hang on? Can I win more? Can I stay disciplined? "Can I," is a very, very tough question.
I was in just about the same situation last year after two weeks of college basketball, BUT, some personal problems interfered[I believe?], and I ended up losing all, plus, several extra hard earned bucks of my own. [Being retired, or not having to work somewhere is a 99% must, in my mind!]
That was a disaster, and quite sobering!
* One important note for all young gamblers:
If you cannot win with a thousand dollar bankroll, how do you suppose you're going to win with a 50,000 bankroll?
The odds are the same!
You are a gigantic underdog, and you have , in most probability, a 95% chance out of 100% of , either losing your behind, or staying afloat for the whole season, whether it's basketball, baseball, or football.
"That," my friends, is why Book's are rich and so very kindly to you!
One popular Book, and no doubt a good one overall, still has that ad that I am sure entices young naive minds to join-up, where you can "bail-out" of your bet at halftime!
But the ad banner doesn't tell you that it's "sides only" that you have to play for that bet cancellation. You must look closely at the rules, then you will see[if you look] that it's one choice only. Sure, better than nothing, but would you have signed up knowing this beforehand?
Just another example of enticement from Books with no known sympathy for suckers.
And believe this...."suckers".... are the reason Books are rich!
