    Bodog and their Dual Lines
    My account had

    Tennessee -3
    Jacksonville +3

I saw that i could arb this because i see -3(+112) or so on Matchbook. Well i place a few bets on Jax a few times and then placed a bet on matchbook. I'm mainly doing this because i have lot of commission credits on matchbook and i have to take the offer as oppose to make offer so it clears those credits. Well after 3 wagers on bodog and matchbook, i try to do it again at bodog and what do you know, its now Jacksonville +3 (-115). Last time i did this in 2 previous games in the NFL, they did this after i bet it a few times.

I guess the smart thing would be place a big wager one time instead of betting it in small increments right? But the risk is of course if you put a bigger wager, the price you get on matchbook might be gone and you need to click real fast. I wondered what would happen if i bet the Titans few times in a row. Would it then go to Titans -3 (-115) and Jags +3 (-105)? Or does the line change only if you bet the side where you can arb? In my case, it was to clear the commission credits on matchbook.

    Go to www.proxy.org

    Select a proxy

Browse to www.bodog.com using the proxy

Without logging in, observe the NFL lines. Using this method you will know if you are getting a dual line or not.

I think everyone is getting Jacksonville +3 -115 right now.

Pretty sure they give dual lines. Last time i did this and asked what juice they got for the game and a few other players told me theirs was different whereas one perosn told me same as mine.

While it pisses players off, I don't see what the big deal about dual lines is. The book has the right to adjust to your betting style and give you the odds they want. Keep them honest by nailing weak lines if they screw around.

If i can get -110 on bodog and get +112 on matchbook, why shouldn't i do it? First off, i arbed it though its a very tiny arb. 2nd, even after the commission credits, i would get about +110.88 on matchbook and i just arb the -110 and +110.88. I think the most important thing is i use up the commission credits because if i don't they end up as a fee. I mean even if you have just $50 in commission credits, you need to have $5000 in wagers to clear it and thats just if you TAKE AN OFFER. More often than not, i only take an offer if its too close to gametime but its pretty easy to get bets matched. Am i wrong here?

I don't understand the logic of wanting to eat up your commission credits... If you play there enough you will eventually use them which basically makes them equal to cash...

Dyanmite be happy you got action down on Bodog arbing against their numbers. If you were getting dual lines you'd be getting them permanently on all markets or you'd be limited. The line simply moved because your not the only genius who can find an arb.

Lvherbie...commission credits are 1 percent. Even if you bet $1100 to win $1000, you use up $10 only. Most importantly... its not that hard to make your own offer and get your bets matched. Usually i only take offers if the game real soon or if the lines are say -105/+104 and there is at least $3000 in each side so your bet would probably not go through and you have to take the offer there. I say a good majority of my bets i made the offer and have it matched. If you see -106 and +104 there and want the -106 side, just type in -105 and put your offer in and you don't need to pay no commission credits if your bets get matched.

Duff, i have to say you are incorrect here. Many times i seen arbs like this on bodog and didn't place the wager till many hours later on. After i made about 2-3 wagers, then i noticed the line has changed. A few other times this happened when it was 3pm and i didn't wager it because i had no money on bodog. Then as it hit gametime, i still saw the lines were the same as it approached game time when i did not place one wager on it. I saw this happen at least 3-4 times so i am pretty sure this happened because i was betting that side.
