I'm getting sick & tired of these protect the offensive player rules!

1) No Helmet to helmet...I mean comon Usa has the best players in the world...isnt the object not to let a reciever catch the ball?
2) No Horse Collar...what else u supposed to do when a reciever is sprinting for a td?
3) Roughing the Qb...might as well make the Qb's wear a Skirt
4) No Celabrating...where's the Fun bunch, Billy "white shoes" Johnson, Icki suffle, & Deions 2 step?

Ok I'm just venting b/c I'm old school...I miss Jack Tatum and Company

Coaches teach players to tackle with their heads up. Putting your head down to tackle does nothing beneficial other than increasing the probability of injury.

have to disagree with no helmut to helmut. The defense is out of control. They lead with their heads when they tackle. Not only will they hurt the offense, but themselves because they don't tackle correctly.

NFL used to be much better in the 70's. Too many rules now. Guys used be be able to go out get in fights, get DWI's, fuk bitches and now they suspend you for that even if you didn't do it. Nothing worse than a 3 hour game with 90 minutes of commercials. League is total garbage and I can't believe some idiots pay 300 to watch this crap.

Sorry, but this is very, very foolish....Guys are just too big and fast( as are the players running at them) to be leading with their heads. Xtremely dangerous...We want the cream of the crop to stay in there not get hurt...

Also, this league fails when the Todd Collins of the world are in at QB...Absolutely have to protect QB's at all cost..Including AARON RODGERS, NFL.

The pass interference rule should be changed to a 15-yd penalty if contact is unintentional, spot foul if intentional. And don't give me that crap that it will be hard to determine what is intentional -- they do it in basketball.

Also, the 'icing the kicker' timeout should be changed to once the center is over the ball, and holding it -- no timeouts.
