Insomnia

I have it, it sucks.

Weening of alcohol and going through this trip with these whacky girls has done it to me. Just lie there, start to fall asleep then the body jumps up violently.

I can still live my day life well enough.

Have you had it? Advice?

Can't drink to pass out have to be functional early.

I do a lot of my work at late night. If I do need to get some sleep I usually will take ambien or xanax. Both of these will put you to sleep and you will wake up refreshed the next day.

they all work.

i've mixed each with alcohol all the time (most times) and it isn't an issue.

Then again, i've been prescribed the stuff (each of those listed above) since i was about 16 for insomnia, so i prob have a fair tolerance to it. Valium or xanax are the safest with a few drinks IMO.

The only issue i've ever had with alcohol is when I had it with stilnox/ambien. i'm not the only one (just google it).

I had a few drinks and a stilnox, beacuse I had to catch a 5AM flight out of bangkok the next morning. I woke up in my mates underwear and the entire room and all my clothes were drenched. he had a stilnox too and passed out, so he had no idea what happened. bizarre.

only time something strange has happened though.
