The play calling seems to have gotten better offensively, they just need to get turnovers, quit turning it over, and quit getting flags. They had a 60 yard TD get called back that could of made the difference in them winning over another freaking flagComment -

When the excessive celebration got called yesterday, the look on the Phillip's face was like he had no control.
If his players do not respect him enough not to play leapfrog after a touchdown he is not a good coach. He is the players bitch, and there is no helping that team. Serious discipline problems is the leading factor as to why they are not winning. Penalties and blown assignments, they have a generally piss poor showing every week. Romo is not a bad QB but you can tell that he is sick of having game winning touchdowns called back for stupid ass penalties.

Romo has a lot of potential, but it's pretty clear he's had either bad coaching or he just isnt' developing. Everyone loves him, though, becaues everyone has a hard-on for the Cowboys.
It doesn't take a brainiac to see how badly Wade ruined teams as head coach in the past. The Rob Johnson start comes to mind... The guy is so unfit to be a coach, it's just wrong for his job to even be in question...
He shouldn't be a head freakin coach!
As for Garrett, he had 1 good season as coordinator and has been garbage ever since.

umm, the guy (Austin) that made the 60 yard TD catch wouldn't have scored on the play had he not pushed the DB down that was covering him like a blanket just before the ball got there. The offensive pass interference on Austin was blatant and justified.
in addition to Romo tossing picks on his own end of the field, the play that killed them was the 95 yard kickoff return for a TD to open the 2nd half. Just can't do that stupid crap and win.
the final nail in the coffin was Jenkins getting another pass interference call on a 3rd down play with just over 2 minutes to go and Dallas about to get the football back on a punt just needing a FG to tie and send it to OT.Comment -
I think the Cowboys just thought it was a key lock that they would be favored alot by the league itself as they are Americas team and they would be making history had they had a good season, and be the first every team to play at home in a super bowl. They just had a big chip on their shoulders, and an attitude that they will get away with penalties and poor play this year. Jerry Jones just needs to lay down the law as that is his team and start making fines for stupid penalties. If Wade can't control his team, then Jerry should. If I was a player on that team and wanted to continue to be there, I'd start steppin up. When the season is over, so will the Cowboy careers of Wade, some coaching staff members, and several players. Cowher isn't the answer in Dallas. Gruden might be, though, because Gruden takes already assembled talent and kicks it into gear.

I can remember the years when the Cowboys would go 13-3 (13 arrests, 3 convictions) but they played well on the field. I agree with Facepunch, Wade has a discipline problem that he does not appear to be able to deal with at all. Unfortunately I do not see the coordinators as being viable candidates to replace Wade and so I cannot see Jerry being able to hire someone else. So I think it is after year end before anything happens.Comment
