yes i can be a bit like that at times but i am trying to break myself of it.

a lot of cheap people out there and most of them arent gamblers tho

TONYYY is just mad because I wouldnt loan him any cash tonight. Of course I have given him over $500 in the past 2 years just for the hell of it

most gamblers definitely think everything is too expensive in stores, so I guess cheap even though they do not mind losing $400 on a game.

Yeah it is funny. I will go to the store and buy the generic brand to save $1.50, then get home and put 2k on the game. Unreal.

No. I swear I wasn't referring to you. I was thinking about family members. They NEVER want to spend anything but will gamble on sports like nothing. I'm pretty much the opposite. Once I get gambling winnings I usually spend it on neccessities.

I don't think gamblers are cheap, we just are trained to look for value, while the majority of yahoos just want to shut their girlfriend up.

Depends on what 'category' of gambler they are but a lot can be cheap - saving every dollar for gambling. Some can be good tippers, especially when on a good run. But once they're barreled in again, it's back to making sure the gambling bankroll has dollars.

well, i think the example in the thread heading is referring to gamblers who have lost a lot of money or regularly lose - of course they are cheap.

generally speaking though, a lot of gamblers have that 'gotta get an edge' mentality built into them, which means they can often appear to be cheap
