*optionsports.com is the only other one on their family list.

There were others, but apparently they have merged. Betmaker was the last to do so, taking the merger route very recently, just the last week or so I believe.Comment

I was pissed about the BetMaker merger... They had one sweet as* promo going on too (8500 pts. = 2 tickets to reg. season game)...

I'll check this one out thanks again...

#16What did SBR say in response to your complaint form, Burger? Or have they not responded at all yet? If they haven’t responded yet, I wouldn’t assume that’s because they can’t help. You’re a lot more likely to get your money if you let them contact Bookmaker for you and see what the snafu is, rather than if you exact your “revenge” (even if the latter feels better in some ways).

Or for that matter, though you may have thought the earlier poster was being sarcastic in offering you $800 for your $1,000 account balance, in fact I would think numerous people would jump to buy your account for that or more. If you’re truly convinced that you’ve been ripped off and you’ll never see your money, you could surely work out such a deal with someone. (Not that I recommend that, since I believe it is very, very likely that—of course assuming there isn’t “more to the story” you’re not telling us—you’ll get your money in full from Bookmaker.)Comment

#19I know, this kind of thing burns the hell out of me as well. No question sportsbook customer service is a pet peeve of mine.

I’ve found Bookmaker and that family to be mixed in several years of experience with them. A lot of times their customer service is excellent, and in fact my recent payouts have all been quick and efficient. But there was also a time I was growing increasingly frustrated with their customer service.

The one thing I remember they were doing that was annoying me is I’d call to ask if I were eligible for a certain promotion or reload bonus, they’d say yes, I’d deposit, and then they’d announce I’m not eligible. Admittedly they didn’t do it as routinely as the VIP group of books, which was the all time king of that bait-and-switch tactic in my experience, but they pulled that on me more than once.

Now I try to avoid those shenanigans by always getting things like that in writing from all books (though even that isn’t a guarantee, as one book I got it in writing from subsequently informed me that their e-mail was in error and they aren’t bound by it).

One thing that helped me with one of the Bookmaker books (Diamond specifically) is that one of the times I was getting frustrated with their customer service I ended up speaking to some “account manager” or whatever the title is, and he said I should always just deal with him from now on. And ever since then, every time I’ve had a question or concern I’ve used his extension or e-mail to contact him directly, and I’ve never had another problem with them.Comment
