I had a friend that deposited 200 bucks into bodog casino. He played keno and slots and hit a huge jackpot on both. I actually saw his acct up to 52,000. He cashed out 7,500 twice. The rest, his dumb ass gambled away on 100 dollar slots. There is no telling how many times he deposited 200 previously though. He quit gambling once the reality hit him. I am sure he won a little by cashing out 15k, but I bet he probably deposited 5 k or more before he won. I wish he would have understood what 52k on the screen actually was. If it would've happened in vegas he would have come home with alot more than 15k. He is a smart guy, besides this dumb move.
has anyone ever turned a small ammount of money into a decent bankroll?

Do you remember what site he plays at? Because I play at bodog only due to the fact that it is also a sportsbook and I like betting sports as well. The only gripe I have with bodog is that the beats are just mind boggling. I know their will be bad beats in poker but for some reason bodog is notorius for them...Comment -

#45Originally posted by pavyracerYou are exactly right. I just realise now the book curious was playing is not A+. When I started playing I also started with $2000 at a D book (did not know about SBR ratings) but every time I won $1000 I was cashing out and I was doing that frequently so I wouldn't have to ask for a big check.Comment -

#47Originally posted by 20Four7That is how you play these books and stay under the radar. Never let a balance get big. I have no problems keeping a 10K balance at pinny but would never even consider that at some others.
When we got robbed this person claimed that he "had no idea" that SBG Global was a bunch of crooks. The problem I have with that statement is that if he truly did not know anything about them, which he claims, how was it that he constantly said "you are safe, you can trust them". So, either he was negligent in sending his customers to sportsbook when he had not checked them out at all, or he was in on the scam somehow. I found it very interesting that SBG Global paid this handicapper all of his money and robbed the rest of us while claiming that we were in a syndicate led by the handicapper.
All of this handicapper's customers would have been much better off if he had just told us to go to a reputable sportsbook watchdog site and make our own decision about where to go.
Not that I'm bitter or anything. LOLComment -

#49Originally posted by StumpageOne night years ago, 1996 or so, I deposited something like $50 into Intertops, then went to the casino. Lost my first hand of blackjack, then went on an insane run of victories starting with my last $25. Blackjacks, dealer busts, "sure thing" double down victories; I simply could not lose. More I won, the more I gradually began to increase my bets and was soon up to near $4,000.
Don't play any online casino anymore, having finally accepted their domination long since, but have always recalled that Intertops winning run.
the shitty thing is i was up and had 80% winning percentage

#51Bankroll
Betting 1 1/2% to 2% of our bankroll this year, I have 6 "clients" who start with $2000 in September and are now sitting on $8414 (as of 3/8/08). There were approx. 7-8 weeks where we did not bet - due to illness on my part.
This is actually a low yearly figure but right on for the actual number of weeks we were in action. Last three years we have averaged doubling our bankrolls approximately every 6-8 weeks. I bet the games too plus I take 20% of their profits.
We hit 56-58% of our games. Money-lines on regional NCAA dogs comprises most of the profits. NBA, NCAA hoops and football, NFL and am looking to add Baseball this year.
It CAN be done.
STRICT money management and lots of games with a small winning edge.Comment -

#61A couple of years ago when began traveling down this road, I naively thought I had the answer to make a living in the casino. (laugh lightly and shake my head.) I was using a grind martingale system and took $200 up to $8000 in a few days. I started dreaming about all the things I would do. I was on the top of the world. Life was great. I requested a $1000 payout via courier check and thought, "You know, I should reward myself for all this "hard" work." I use the word "hard" loosely, as, yes I spent hours and hours testing this system and of course played nearly 24s a day building my empire. With my bankroll at around $7000.00 I began to see a few heavy losses, but not to worry, I was still increasing. Up to $12k. My check was due to arrive any day now and my current bankroll was flying, it was great. Then it happened. In less than a day, I had lost nearly everything.Dreams shattered and gone. I was down to my last $100 and just stared at the monitor. Everything, ever said about this kind of system was true. I thought I had the angle, but it was a lie. The very next day my check came in. I used it to pay some bills.
So, the smallest amount to a decent bankroll, to date, although I am working on topping that currently, was taking $200 to $12kComment -

Hi,
I won a bet on the Holland vs France game and placed a $10 bet that holland will score 4 goals and France 1 which came true. the odds were 101 and so my winnings were 1010 us dollars. Until now they have not paid me a single dime and I've asked a thousand dollars cash out.
I took the wire money to my bank account option and gave them all the details they needed to make the wire transfer but still nothing so far. I sent them emails and they mailed me back asking for copies of my credit card front and back and also my drivers licence id copies. I also spoke to one of their guys in los angeles and he said they could pay pal the money to me but also no payment so far.
no legitimate business will ask for copies of your credit card and it is very unsafe to begin with. Please help me. my user ID on www.internet1x2.com is ROMAVICTOR.
