He is obviously dealing with mental issure and on top of that has had some serious problems recently in his personal life. Threatening murder is not something that should be dealt with lightly but banning him may be a bit extreme. sbr should punish in some way though.

I missed the death threats. Bateman has had many "vacations" here. He will be back on vacation if I see any threats and we will assist anyone who is threatened with our legal staff should they want help reporting the incident to their local law enforcement.

Forumville is no different than the real world. You can kind of call someone out and hurl a minor insult and no one cares but threaten someone and no telling how it will end. Might blow over or the threatened guy may find a district attorney who thinks its a crime. No needs that. Bateman if you did threaten someone you better make a public apology and agree no more of that non sense.

True enough. It must be sufficiently explicit for a reasonable person to fear or feel apprehension of the imminent commission of a crime.

Not to mention the requisite intent must be present in the person leveling a threat.
