Is it me, or is Roger Goodell awesome?

Every time I hear the guy talk, I'm impressed. He just seems really sensible, confident, no-nonsense... like he wants what's best for the game.

Some guys, they talk and you just hear rhetoric or politicizing. Maybe I'm crazy, but I think this guy is legit -- he's def my fave commish of the four major sports.

I don't think they can do too much to Favre... although he does like to send messages (Goodell I mean, but Favre does too! )

So they might want to slap a game on him for "sexual harrassment" or something. Who knows. Maybe just a big fine?

I agree with SB. I don't like the fact that he's came down with a heavy hand most times. Some situations deserved it, some didn't. Shouldn't of let Pac-man back in the league. I'm not a Favre fan, but I don't see how suspending him or even fining him is going to do any good. I don't condone trying to cheat, but do they have to ruin all these guys in the media like that? That girl should get nothing. No 15 minutes of fame

He has to make an example of Farve if it is found to be true. A sexual harassment suit against the team then the league would spell a lot of trouble for the NFL, that is why he will come down very hard on Farve, he is in a position of power, and tried to use it to gain sexual favor's from an employee under him, no pun intended

He basically is going to leave Favre alone, Roger knows it is best for league.

The favre thing will be left alone till after the season, when it's irrelevant and no one cares anymore. Primarily because this is shaping up to be favres last season whether he decides to continue or not. I'm not sure I'd want him as a starting qb anymore, but rather a side-line backup and more importantly, a mentor like they've got going on in NY(Jets)...
