With the line at 49ers -6.5 and Total 41 I am LOVING the 49ers and the UNDER in this game. A few observations.
Both teams have average quarterbacks at best. If Smith starts out poorly, you know he will be pulled for the older version of him in David Carr. I know the Raiders scored points last week, but they benefited from turnovers and I just don't see Campbell leading this team to another game of 20+ points. That addage "must win" has been used to describe the last four 49ers games. The owner has guaranteed a playoff berth for his team this year, and I suspect that guarantee may come to fruition in a weak division. The line will give Raiders fans and casual bettors here in Vegas a reason to salivate, but I feel sharp bettors will see the line as an indicator to bet San Fran.
