Not to bad odds for MSU considering the only tough game on the schedule is Iowa. I think it is worth a little look, the rest of the schedule is cupcakes, and this does not seem like ol MSU they look real balanced

          Michigan State's remaining schedule:

Oct. 16 Illinois (MS has won 10 of 11 but the visitor has won 3 straight)
Oct. 23 at Northwestern (The visitor had won 4 straight prior to MSU's 24-14 win last year)
Oct. 30 at Iowa (MS last won in Iowa City in 1989)
Nov. 6 Minnesota (MS has dropped 3 straight to Minny and are just 2-6 in the series since 1998)
          Nov. 13 Open Date
Nov. 20 Purdue (MS has won 3 straight)
Nov. 27 at Penn State (MS hasn't won in Happy Valley since 1965 with 8 straight losses)

Is Wisconia, Iowa, & Notre Dame really that much more impressive than Va Tech, Oregon State, and Nevada?

Take away the "names" and look @ Nebraska's schedule... it is VERY conceivable that when it's all said and done they played ZERO teams ranked in the top 25 all year in the regular season.
Only teams with a chance to be ranked
                    Texas?

Mich St is not worthy of Nat'l Champs, but this is actually not a bad bet. Figure the Big 10 is a pitiful conference so they may not lose a game. If they get to the championship game anything can happen. Just ask Ohio St.
