Rough start but the Hawks pretty much dominated after killing off the major. The Sabres barely touched the puck in the 2nd period. Hossa is looking like he's in mid-season form but John Scott shouldn't even be dressing let alone getting 16 minutes (attributable to only 5 d for most of the game). Nice to see Boynton play 23 strong minutes after barely playing at all in the playoffs last year. Haven't seen him play that well since he dominated juniors with the 67's.

It was pretty amusing hearing the homer Buffalo TV crew go bananas over the Hjalmarsson hit. It wasn't really that bad.

Didn't think that it was that bad of a hit myself, but I was watching with the homer Chicago TV crew. They made it seem like he will certainly be suspended, perhaps for a lengthy period of time.

I only saw one angle shown over and over and it looked like more for a hit from the side. It was definitely interference but look at the guy making the hit. It's not like he has a track record for playing dirty.
I'll retract this comment if I see a replay from a different angle and he truly ran him.
