    Delaware Parlay Ticket: UPDATE
I e-mailed the journalist and got a response:

    Jerardi, Dick to me
show details 7:06 AM (2 hours ago)

Don't know if he bet on the Eagles, but he lost the parlay bet. He had SF, plus three. And on this particular card, ties lose. Talk about a a brutal beat. Win 14, tie one, lose $5.

Is it possible the reporter doesn't know the bettor placed a wager offshore or in Vegas on the eagles?

I doubt someone that took a $5 15 team parlay card in Delaware even knows what a hedge is, much less has the $30k - $50k to do so.

If he knew he had a winner, I am sure he hedged it or sold the ticket or did something.

coming up with the $$ to hedge this kind of wager is not that easy I'm sure. He should have contacted Fezzik is this case. That guy would have come up a creative way to utilize the situation to his advantage.

That reporter is a real sharp!Known him for 30+ years.I am sure he asked the questions you did but in his best interest, not to go down that road publicly.
And I am sure someone mentioned the middle to the ticket holder.
