Worst play call I have EVER seen in LIFE!
It cannot possibly be true what I just witnessed. Arizona is up 23-20 and is essentially running out the clock against New Orleans. There are 59 seconds left and New Orleans is out of time outs. Arizona is driving inside New Orleans' 40 yard line.

The ONLY play to make is to kneel down and punt the ball with about 10 seconds left. What does Whisenhunt do for Arizona? He tries a touch pass with his rooke QB Max Hall. This ball has to clear a defender's hands by an inch to be successful. The ball is caught.....however, the receiver fumbles the ball....luckily for Arizona it wasn't picked up and run down the sideline for a touchdown.

Someone please tell me I am missing something. I was watching online, but I am 99 percent true I saw what I think I saw. Unreal.

I can't be the only one who say this impossible play call. It was 3rd down with 59 seconds left. The absolute worst case-scenario if you take a knee is that there are about 10 seconds left when you punt the ball. The punt would go out of the end-zone and the only way you can get beat is on a touchdown on the last play of the game from 80 yards.

They are up 23-20 and they throw a pass? If nobody has a problem with this then I can see why you guys go broke betting Carson Palmer, Jay Cutler, and Alex Smith.

It was one of the most insane things I have ever seen. You'll all be in bankrutpcy court if you think like Whisenhunt. You'll be on the streets BUSTED.

I didn't lose money on this, but I was rooting for Arizona to win. Amazing way to almost lose the game. If he just goes to the knee it is 99 percent over. They almost blew this game. I guess you had to see it. The ball was rolling around after the fumble and Arizona was lucky to pick it up.

1st-10, NO36 1:48 B. Wells rushed to the right for 2 yard gain

2nd-8, NO33 1:44 B. Wells rushed to the right for no gain

3rd-8, NO33 0:59 M. Hall passed to B. Patrick to the left for 3 yard gain. B. Patrick fumbled. L. Fitzgerald recovered fumble

            4th-5, NO25 0:24 B. Graham punt, no return

C'mon, man! How can there be a worse call? It is almost a mathematical impossibility to lose if you take the knee there and let the play clock run down. Then, there are seconds left and you blast the punt through the end-zone and there might be one play left from the 20.

He had his rookie QB throw a touch pass over a huge defender, the reciever luckily caught the ball, but of course fumbled.....then the ball rolled around on the sideline. It is about the only way to lose. Someone from New Orleans could have easily run that back for a TD.....even if New Orleans falls on it they would have had a chance to tie.

They had no shot if Arizona takes the knee on 3rd down. I guarantee you this...if you needed New Orleans on the money line you almost got the miracle gift. I bet New Orleans bettors couldn't believe that idiotic play call by Arizona that gave them a chance. Anyone who had Arizona on the moneyline would have to hate Whisenhunt for life for making them sweat that out.
