He's on YES right now and he's the best go against when he loves something. So arrogant.

I miss him and Doggy doing their Friday Night picks while I was coming home from work. I know Mike still does them, but meh, the show ain't nearly as good without Dog. 2 total schleps that cancel each other out.
Dog was the ULTIMATE fade.
But yeah, haha, you're correct, Mike is a great fade... Especially when he gets into a long dramatic story about why he loves the pick.

Him and the dog were the best running sports radio show to ever exist. Them breaking up was miserable. The show is not even in the same stratosphere of what it used to be.

Exactly.
Wait till Bowl Season. I love when he says "This team has no chance in this game" I run to the computer when I hear that.

I remember those picks on WFAN. They'd be playing the music in the background and both feeling all confident with them. Both were good fades for sure - square to the squared power.

he uses a local and probably put the guys entire extended family through college............i loved mike and the mad dog...now ill only really listen when there is a new york sports team collapse of some kind because mike can still go on a great riff that captures the essence of whatever happened.

agreed, I used to tune in for the Friday picks.
They weren't night picks, though. Show was 1-6:30 and they usually did picks in the 4 PM hour.

He really needs a partner on his show. Not nearly what it used to be.

Mike sounded like quite a horse-playing degenerate also - even with being a horse owner. I think he has to take on all these extra shows he does just to fund his gambling.
