It's been a treat reading your columns and picks all year Nancy. In a way I regret ever doing so, because all it's accomplished is show me that even a woman understands football more than myself. Not just a hot hand either, you've had quality breakdowns all year, the only sports writer I don't consider an attention seeking nincompoop to be honest.

If you are going to take a vacation at a music forum or something this offseason take me with you, I could use one too.

Usually the sports media chooses to ignore the betting angles, do you sometimes skew your articles to include the betting reader (mentioning spreads, etc)? or you fit it for sport fans only? and if no, is that per choice or guidelines?

I've been writing the column for 6 years and have not ever skewed toward the betting angle; however, hanging around here for two season has opened my eyes a bit and I may make some adjustments in the coming season as my sports editor allows.

Thanks, sweetie. And my deepest regrets for any losses you might have sustained. In all honestly, it was a tough call to go with the Giants, and in the end, I just went with my gut and my belief that great defense overtakes great offense in the big games.
