OVER Eagles/49ers 38

Eagles with Kolb as QB last week looked lost with him throwing fluttering balls into the wind. San Francisco couldn't score after the first half last week and Alex Smith looks more like Alex P Keaton. Why would you bet the OVER? Here are a couple of reasons.

1. The new offensive coordinator for San Fran has had another week to acclamate himself with the team. I think he will have Gore running on all cylanders and will keep Smith from making any dangerous passes.

2. The weather doesn't call for major wind tomorrow. This will give Kolb a chance to show his arm is better than what he showed last week.

3. Both teams covered the UNDER last week. Quite often, 2 teams playing each other that UNDER'ed the week before tend to go OVER.

I know weird reasons, but nobody ever calls me conventional.

i took the under here. not buying the due factor for either of these teams to put up points. klob has looked horrible and eagles front line gives no protection for a qb with limited mobility. alex smith hasnt showed much of anything this season so far and wont impress against the eagles 4th ranked pass defense in the nfl. 49'ers could exploit some ground game but that just helps the under. gl with your plays.

The Over is 5-1 in their last six head-to-head meetings. The Over is 10-3 when the 49's play the NFC East. Take Eagles and the Over!

I'm an Eagles fan who watches every second of every game. And I'm taking the under here. This will be a hard fought and grind-it-out low scoring game (barring some pick-6's or special teams TD's). The Eagles could be missing a few key offensive players this week as well, namely McCoy, who is the catalyst for the Eagles west coast offense and TE Celek their 3rd down go-to. Which means Desean Jackson will be smothered. You already had a stingy 49ers D who is gonna really be fired up after last weeks last second loss to ATL. Taking the under pretty large here.

This is going to be one of those game where one side is so obvious that its too obvious. OVER
