Vegas Sportsbooks & Best Value For Drinks
I have been to every sportsbook on the strip, and many of the off strip ones as well. I can tell you the 3 best and 3 worst sportsbooks for drink to $$ spent ratio

    1. Pallazzo- If you bet $20 a horse race or $20 on a sports bet, you get a drink ticket. If you bet horses for any period of time, you will get a drink ticket for as little as $10 a bet. The book is nice, and the cocktail watresses are cute and attentive.

    2. Wynn- As expensive and fancy the hotel is, I have been there a few times and NEVER had a problem getting a drink ticket for a nominal bet. The book isn't large, but the talent there is outstanding.

    3. Mandalay Bay- I have been there twice. The book is large, and getting drink tickets was easy. I didn't spend a hell of a lot.

    3 WORST

    1. Planet Hollywood- Since they changed ownership earlier this year, getting a drink ticket is IMPOSSIBLE. You have to bet $50 a horse bet and $100 a sports bet to get a drink. Ridiculous.

    2. MGM Grand- I just found their cocktail waitresses slow and unattentive. Also the sportsbook is clausterphobic.

    3. New York New York- Drinks were small and watered down. Not impressed.

Good info, Casper. Any thoughts on Bellagio? How have they been lately?

the best for drink tickets and overall atmosphere are Paris (up scale) and Barleys (little brewery/book), both are a good time, people are nice, and they'll take care of ya.

gotta agree with you on MGM, they're stingy and the place has no lighting, didn't like it one bit

Bellagio is strong as well. I am not a big fan of Paris just because anything modeled after the French makes me want to hurl.
