Jerseys are counterfeited with such frequency. And there is no way that someone like Sam can tell the veracity of authenticity claims. Unless you buy directly from the NFL or the team website/store there is no way to ensure authenticity.

I assure you they don't ship real jerseys in those crinkly cellophane bags tho.
