Guy will die on the field. He won't retire. College football is all he got.

Well I see this at my job. We have some guys who are Joe Pa's age and they won't retire. They have plenty of money. Joe Pa doesn't need the money. College football is all he knows and even if you pay him a ton to sit all day on the beach and drink Pina Coladas he won't do it.

Do you really think Joe Paterno cares about ESPN?

The guy lives in the same house in State College for 45 years. He drives a car he has had for the last 15 years. He donated 5 million to Penn State's library, and another 3.5 to the Community hospital in State College.

The guy doesn't have any use for ESPN----and clearly----Penn State is where his heart and soul are.

It is so sad to see him lose this way. He needs to retire.
