not just a gambler.. but don't ever loan any friend money.. even if he's not a gambler. Friends and money don't mix. you want to lose a friend.. just lend him money and i promise you'll lose him as a friend.

friends love you when you lend them.. they want to give you the world.. and you are their best friend. but when it comes time to pay you back, they start to hate you.. and GOD FORBID you remind them that you want your money. they will hate you more. i've had friends yell at me and want to fight me cause i asked for my money back..

Now I just always say i got no money. MONEY AND FRIENDS DO NOT MIX..It causes so much friction.

Here's a conversation i have each time i lent money to friends

Friend- Hey Nicky, i beg you pls. just lend me 2k and i swear to GOD, i'll pay you every cent back with interest by end of month. If i don't come up with 2k, i will get evicted and my GF will dump me...I will call you 1st of month when i get that money i am getting and will come deliver it.

Nicky- Here you go, but i dont want the interest.... Don't forget, you promised.. Don't make me have to call you and remind you..

Friend- I promise.. don't worry...Thanks Nicky, you saved my life.... you really are a pal


2 weeks after he was supposed to call me... NOTHING.. no call.

I call him.. hey man, what happened..


Friend- Relax man. what's your fukkin problem?? i told you.. you'd get your money.. leave me the fukk alone.. I am in a bond, but you'll get it.. Relax.

2 months later, still no call.

I call him again.. he goes bollistic on me. What's your fukkin problem.. relax.. don't worry, you'll get every cent..

He never calls again..

I call him.. no answer. leave 5 messages.. no answer.. I see him at mall.. he sees me, he runs to the other side.

2 weeks later, i see him at the casino betting 100$ a hand. His excuse.. hey nicky, i was about to call you today..

1 week later, i see him eating a 225$ sushi meal/bottle of wine with his family.. hey nicky, i swear i was just about to call you tonight



This is what happens each fukkin time i lend money to a friend. 24 out of the last 24 times, this has happened.. and now.. I lost all those 24 friends today and NONE have paid me. They are nice when they borrow it. and when it's time to pay, they turn to assholes.. it's like you're the victim. you become a jerk to them. I am now the bad guy. what was in it for me? i was a nice guy and saved him, and now he hates me.
