I believe they just have a condensed powder they add water to and mix it up. They don't actually make em right there...I THINK, don't know for sure.

I dunno but all of McDonalds coffee drinks are great. Even Starbucks doesn't grind the espresso beans fresh for each drink. And it looks like it's all done by an automated machine so even the kids who work there can't manage to screw it up.

Buy some Nescafe from the store (instant coffee). Put a couple teaspoons in a shaker. Put 2 oz of cold water in it. Shake it for 15 seconds. Add ice cubes, sugar, half milk and half cold water to fill the glass (you can add whip cream and chocolate surup at the top if you like it mocca). Here you have a nice frape without going to McDonalds.

I don't buy it. They make them out in the open so it would be very hard to spit in someone's drink.
