Sock-eating black holes

The weirdest thing happened to me today. I opened my suitcase (I'm traveling in Vegas now), and I found an unidentified sock. All my socks are clearly identifiable (either black socks, or have Addidas/Rebok markings on them). I am certain this mystery sock was not in my suitcase yesterday - I did laundry, and packed my suitcase. When I travel, I'm a bit anal, and roll my socks up together. The unidentified sock was obviously solo.

Did one of you guys break into my hotel room and plant a rogue sock in my suitcase?

all my socks are accounted for

That ain't one of them "American Pie" socks, is it? I'd exercise extreme caution in the handling of said sock ... just in case.

They went over your luggage at the airport. Somebody else's sock was left. They dumped it in yours.

is it white with a grey bottom and grey stripe up top. If so it's mine it's missing from my dryer.

I find 'em inside the sleeves of shirts and sweatshirts all the time, Justin. I've told my wife if she doesn't start doing a better job with the laundry, there are going to be some big changes around here...ooops, I hear her coming down the hall now, gotta' run.
