i got my wife a nokia smartphone, and while she loves it, she was complaining that now she has to push 3 buttons before she can even make a phone call. seems like the new smartphones are really just mini-netbooks with phone capabilities, instead of the other way around

I was thinking about the Android, but I don't know all my options, I just need a phone so I can go on the internet to place wagers from anywhere (doesn't need WIFI). Is the Android good for this and how expensive would it be in Canada?

if u wanna a phone mostly for internet, get an evo or iphone, cuz they have pretty big screens, blackberry is more like an email type phone
