Has anyone else had this happen? Recently they've been deleting wagers from players.

#4Thremp,
Do you have the bet history? The exact time you played it? If it was sitting at +120 since the market was at 120 they owe need to honor that.Comment -

#6It never happened to me, but I know of two other forumer's in the past that had wagers that disappeared. Both chalked it up to I'm sure I made the bet, but I guess it didn't go through, neither had screen shot anything. I screen shoot everything now and don't have any problems.Comment -

#7Stay in their ear about this Thremp....I had several situations with Sportbet when I had an account there, for cancelling wagers well after the event had started if I recall correctly.
Anyway, these incidents were always resolved in my favour, after I had pestered them enough. There was a guy who worked there who was actually very helpful...Andrew, I believe.Comment -

#9Thremp,
What happened to the money from the disappearing wager? Did it just go back to your available balance?Comment -

#10Ortho,
Yes. It was as if I had never placed the wager.
I'm almost positive I placed this wager and it went in. I didn't screen shot it, but someone else mentioned it missing and I got to thinking, "I wonder where mine went as well."
I was mostly curious (especially after the events of today when they moved a HT line 1 point on me in middle of placing the wager) if this had happened to anyone else or if other shops did this on a regular basis.
It appears the huge vig isn't doing enough to protect them.Comment -

#11I had a wager cancelled here before for a bad line. They cancelled it a couple hours (which was still a couple of hours before post) before they sent me an email about it, and I think it just disappeared from my account like that rather than showing up as void, but I can't go back in the history in that book more than 2 weeks, I don't think, to find out. It might have showed as void, but I think it was just taken out.Comment -

#12Just a few weeks ago I had a wager cancelled on a UFC fight. I placed a max bet of $100 on Matt Hughes who was listed as an underdog. The line remained up for a few weeks. Eventually I noticed that my pending wagers was completely empty, and the $100 was back in my available balance. When I joined the live chat to ask what happened, at first they said that the wager was never placed. I insisted that it was. The chat rep then asked for my bet ticket #. I think this is the only time that I've ever lost a ticket #. Luckily, the chat rep did admit that she had found my bet, and informed me that the line manager had cancelled the bet because the moneyline was flipped. She told me that this was covered in their policies. I was mad at the time, but the line was clearly flipped. What I still don't like though is the silent disappearance of my bet without any notification whatsoever.Comment -

#13They've done this to me twice now, and because of it, I asked my money to be refunded (after hours of pestering them about it) and my account closed. I'll never be using them again.
They had Cincinnati +1.5 against the Dodgers at 2.1, while Pinnacle had it at 1.7. I thought this would be fine, placed the bet, only to be told by them that "I posted a wrong line", and "Didn't I ever think that it was a bad line before I placed it?". Bad attitude from their customer service. It obviously wasn't a bad line, but they cancelled it, and I was exposed quite a bit on another bookmaker because of it (Thankfully the Dodgers won my -1.5 3.7 bet so I didn't lose out because of it).
If I was you, I'd stay well clear of these lot. I have no idea why they're a B rating too, shocking.Comment -

#14We have a couple complaints of cancellations to discuss now. None are after the game started but at least two look like they were not bad lines. Anyone who can offer their account ID so we can look at this further should email Help@SportsbookReview.com.
Update 8/4: Latest player shown to have wagered on bad line. Book also states he has only made a single wager and this has not happened to him previously as stated.Comment -

#15Books that do this raise serious issues about being properly funded. If they were financially secure this would not happen. I would be very careful playing there and keep your balances low.Comment
