Don't give up Reg. Tampa can still make a comeback. 9 outs to play with. I don't think they will but I am trying to motivate you. We all know what it feels like when you go on a bad streak and you doubt yourself and bet every game just waiting for something to go wrong. Just take a deep breathe, clear your head, and bet the Giants tonight.

It's way too much of a grind. It sucks knowing that I would have to win 10 games in a row at -110 just to get my money back.

And I can't advise a bet on the Giants tonight, only because the juice is too high. If the Playoffs are showing us anything early, it's anything is possible, and there are no sure things.

how are the playoffs showing us that? the 2 biggest favorites both won and covered the -1 1/2 line as well

and quite a lot of people were on texas yesterday/today so that's not much of a surprise

Well maybe thats the case, but I sure didnt expect Tampa would be heading to Arlington down 0-2. They proved they were the best AL team this year winning by far the best division in baseball.

It's hard to cap them only getting 1 hit through 6 innings vs CJ Wilson....who has been subpar in September.

one problem i see is some of those bets were correlated/chasing the same bad team (miami/under, mtsu game/1st half, tampa 2 days in a row) - that kind of stuff can turn 6 losses into 9

agree at least you weren't chasing for bigger amounts like many here would've done

Just put it behind you. That money is gone. It's not coming back quick. Just start over. Right now you are 0-0. Try to go 1-0. If you look at it that way you will have to win 15 games in a row because your not going to be doing your usual betting.

i think "subpar in september" was the definition of shields, who got smacked around today, he had given up at least 7 hits in each of his last 7 starts

In that stretch, he has allowed 40 hits and 29 runs, 27 earned, in 32 innings. Shields allowed seven earned runs on 12 hits in five innings of work on Friday against the Royals. Kansas City and Bruce Chen would win the game, 7-0, dropping the Rays to second place in the AL East. Shields walked two batters and struck out one.

hahahah thanks buddy.....but not much can save me now. Especially when CJ has been ALL over the place this inning, and the umpire gives him a VERY favorable call on a full count. Tough to get back in the game, when you are fighting every variable you could think of.

0-9 is hard to do, but anybody that gambles over the long haul will see those on occasion. It's called variance. Say for example you are a 55% handicapper,which would make you a winner at -110 and the same unit per bet. For example we have a jar that will hold 1000 marbles. We will put 555 white marbles for winners and 445 black marbles for losers. If they were in random order chances are over time you will draw 9 white marbles in a row. VARIANCE! The good thing is it works the other way on ocassion as well.
