The Phillies' game announcer was even worse. Fukking homer to the extreme. The one I get in brazil is the worst I've ever seen... we had the game on ESPN. I honestly thought about e-mailing them asking to hire me.

this guy might be worst announcer i have ever heard in my life.. and i've heard some bad ones..

That HR just now.. he sounded dead.. did not sound like a game leading 2 RUN HR after a big comeback..

maybe he has money on the Twinkies?

pauly, i usually don't post plays.. i don't like to do this because i can't live with myself knowing i cost posters money if it loses. if i am going to lose, i alwys want to lose my money..

PLUS, posting plays is a no win situation. i have posted in the past.. and if i win 4 in a row, no one says anything.. but when i lose that next game, 84 new posters come in and bash me.. People are always just sitting there hoping you lose so they can hammer you;..

Just not worth it.

Their gem of the night came in their post game show. Kind of late this was. They showed the famous clip of Yogi jumping in Don Larson's arms after the perfect game in 1956 right after pinch hitter Dale Mitchell was called out on strikes on a pitch a half a foot out of the strike zone.

The annoucer says " and here Don Larson gets the final out retiring Dal Maxvill."

Don Orsillo is used to being the calm half to Jerry Remy's crazy/loud half. Pairing him up with a goof like Buck Martinez was a terrible idea. Orsillo is a great commentator, but he sounds incredibly boring without a more outgoing announcer with him
