    SBGGlobal D- but pokerhost B+?
I was looking at pokerhost because they have a pretty good poker bonus (this days anyhow) but was turned off when I found out they were associated with SBGGlobal... anyhow, I was wondering why pokerroomreview has them at B+ with the association... Do I have anything to worry about if I stay out of the sportsbook?

From my understanding they are run by SBG Global and have been around since like 2005. Not to mention that they belong to Microgaming Network and does accept US players (all except the 11 banned states). Other that I really don't know all to much about it, however maybe Mike from PRR or AlMasters might be able to shed more light on this subject for us both Herbie.

Herbie, i've never played there so it would be unfair of me to give any good or bad info about Pokerhost.com, however imo, i see red flags when i see numbers such as 95% bonus, and 7 times your deposit back etc, they seem to have sats to major events, yet avg player traffic is extremly low, almost to good to be true, but thats just me.

There is good info about them at either Recgambling.com,or
go to google, click google groups then put in Pokerhost.com.

yea, it's defiently the best poker bonus I've seen online since the UIGEA passed... that, plus the SBG connection, is what is scaring me away... I'm sure I'll take a pass on this one...

PokerRoomReview has worked hard for players but it should be noted that it is not part of, or owned by, SBR.

I don't know about pokerhost but if SBG has backend access I rather play online with Absolute's AJ.

thanks for pointing that out, Bill... the domain and the setup the website deffinently gives one the feel that they are affliated with SBR...

Their grade of absolute of an A is probably the biggest clue towards their standards of grading...

For ratings on poker rooms the best source is www.bonuswhores.com. They will help with disputes for poker rooms and have a list of blacklisted sites and often offer bonus's direct to their members. I would check them out.

I just checked them out and they are part of the microgaming network that includes Doyle's Room, Canbet poker Eurolinx etc. I would assume microgaming wouldn't put up with the shit that SGB does to it's sportsbook players and therefore the money is relatively safe. Read the fine print on their bonus tho.

Players must earn 10 raked hands for each $1 in bonus money.
Bonus is released in three parts, with the increments being based on the specific promotion (see chart below). Players must contact support when they would like their increment of bonus released.
The first part of the bonus expires two weeks after starting the promotion, the second portion expires 1 month after the first part is released and the third potion expires 2 months after the 2nd portion is awarded.
Players can not withdraw until all three parts of the bonus have been completed. However in the event you run out of time clearing one of your increments, you will be allowed to keep any bonus that has already been credited to you, but not be able to withdraw it.
